Minister Richard Earl Russell was born on August 4, 1963 to Herbert Russell and Gloria Russell. He grew up in Baton Rouge where he attended Capitol Middle and Capitol High School. While in high school, Richard joined the J.R.O.T.C. Program. He became very active in this program. By the time Richard graduated, he was awarded a scholarship. He had to maintain a ‘C’ average to keep his scholarship. After graduation, Minister Russell moved to California to pursue a career in boxing. He moved back to Baton Rouge shortly afterwards to answer the call of GOD that was mandated on his life. Minister Russell is married to the lovely Cheryl Russell, and they share three beautiful kids: Courtney, Anthony, and Halie Russell.

Minister Russell’s vision and heart is to build up the people of GOD so that they are able to stand strong in their faith and be well equipped to meet their daily challenges of today’s world. By equipping the believer with word and faith, Minister Russell’s ministry enables them to be GOD’s hands and voice extended to a hurting and dying world.
